'Wednesday' Star Fred Armisen Buys Magical $4 Million Cottage: Photos

Did you really expect Fred Armisen, one of the stars of Wednesday and an SNL alum, to have anything other than a unique love of old-world architecture? He and his partner and Wednesday co-star Riki Lindhome just dropped a little over $4 million on a four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom Los Feliz home that looks like it came to life from a Disney movie!

Along with an eccentric floorplan, the cottage has a peculiar history behind it, originally being built for a woman in the 1920s. Then a notable woman named Leona P. Wood, who was an artist and the widow of a wealthy businessman, stayed in the home. Then Dr. Paul DeGaston lived in the home for a while, and if that name sounds familiar to you, it’s because he was a decades-long suspect in the Black Dahlia murder case. Then it was sold multiple more times, most notably to Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight, producer Lauren Lexton, and now Armisen and Lindhome.

Not only is there a rather odd history behind it, but there are so many beautiful details around the cottage; from the high ceilings to the stunning moldings. Seriously, this is something out of a cottagecore lover’s dream!
