The Prince and Princess of Wales have released their 2023 Christmas card, featuring a black and white portrait of the family.
The snap, captured by Bazaar contributing photographer Josh Shinner earlier this year on the Windsor grounds, depicts a smiling William and Kate alongside their three children: Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five. The family posed for a classic portrait in which Princess Charlotte sits in a leather chair surrounded by her brothers and parents. The royal family all wore smart white shirts and black trainers, with the princesses in jeans and the princes in black trousers.

"Our family Christmas card for 2023 🎄❤️," the Prince and Princess of Wales captioned their Instagram post.
Kensington Palace released the Christmas card a day after Kate hosted her third annual Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, a community carol service held at Westminster Abbey. The event saw the rare attendance of the entire Wales family, alongside royals like Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and younger sister Pippa Middleton, were also among the event's guest list.

Back in 2021, Kate hosted her first-ever Christmas carol service in order to honour “the incredible work of individuals and organisations across the nation who have stepped up to support their communities through the pandemic”.
This year, she shifted the spotlight to focus on those working in the realm of early childhood development, a cause that has long been close to her heart. The celebration also saw several guest appearances from stars like Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings, James Bay, Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert.
Royal Carols will broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX on 24 December.
